We contacted Yvonne in March 2015 to help us with a few small behavioural problems with our 10 month old female Jack Russell. Ruby was barking when someone knocked on the door which quickly turned into whimpering and nervousness and if we let her she would run out of door, she was jumping up legs, laps, pulling on the lead, nervous of traffic. It seems like a long list, but after the initial meeting with Yvonne and the information she shared with us, it really helped us to understand what we needed to change and as expected it was our behaviour that need to change.
By the time Yvonne did some family training with us we had already started to change our behaviour and the training gave us specific tools to help us with the door problem, what to do with an energetic terrier jumping up, how to deal with jumping on sofas, how to greet Ruby when coming home. For now we are practising our new skills and we are confident that if we need further help with lead walking, or nervousness around traffic, we can contact Yvonne again for help.’
