Dog Behaviour Problem:
Jumping up. A dog that would jump up at all guests entering the house. The dog ignored the orders of the owner.
Approach:
I showed the family why the dog jumps at its’ guests and how to reverse this behaviour by following a few easy steps that need to be repeated every time someone comes into the house.
Results:
After 3 weeks the dog welcomed all guests by calmly sitting in the hallway, awaiting to hear from the owner that it was okay to greet the guests. Jumping up was no longer occurring.
