‘Bella came to us as rescue dog last June, and was always very wary of other dogs she spotted on her walks. She would jump up, bark ferociously and generally become very agitated, particularly when passing close by another dog. In addition to this, she pulled on her walks and, as a giant breed, both of these issues were very difficult to deal with. During our first training session, Yvonne seemed to command an instant respect from Bella (unlike us!), and- in her new Halti collar – soon had her walking calmly past other dogs. It’s been a few weeks now and the change in Bella’s behaviour is generally really good: she’s much calmer when passing dogs and no longer pulls us along. Yvonne’s information and training has improved our day to day lives with Bella enormously. While we are still very much a work in progress, walks are no longer something to be dreaded and we’re very grateful for her help.
